Random Moment Sampling
The Child Support Program uses an Automated Random Moment and Reporting System to conduct random moment sampling to reimburse clerks of court for a portion of their costs of supporting the Program.
The federal government requires the use of random moment sampling to determine the percentage of clerks' office team member time spent providing services for the Child Support Program. The Automated Random Moment and Reporting System significantly reduces the time and expense required to gather this data to award child support funding to clerks.
