Multi-Tax Credits
Florida offers credits against multiple Florida taxes to taxpayers making
voluntary and private monetary contributions to programs established to
promote investment in Florida.
Child Care Tax Credits Program

Allows taxpayers that establish an eligible child care facility for
employees, operate an eligible child care facility for employees, or
pay an eligible child care facility in the name and for the benefit of
an employee to earn a credit against the following Florida taxes:
- corporate income tax;
- excise tax on liquor, wine, and malt beverages;
- gas and oil production tax;
- insurance premium tax; and
- use tax due under a direct pay permit.
Live Local Program Tax Credit

Allows taxpayers to make private, voluntary contributions to the
Florida Housing Finance Corporation and receive a dollar-for-dollar
credit against the following Florida taxes:
- corporate income tax; and
- insurance premium tax.
New Worlds Reading Initiative

Allows taxpayers to make private, voluntary contributions to an
eligible administrator and receive a dollar-for-dollar credit against
the following Florida taxes:
- corporate income tax;
- excise tax on liquor, wine, and malt beverages;
- gas and oil production tax;
- insurance premium tax; and
- use tax due under a direct pay permit.
Strong Families Tax Credit

Allows taxpayers to make private, voluntary contributions to eligible
charitable organizations and receive a dollar-for-dollar credit
against the following Florida taxes:
- corporate income tax;
- excise tax on liquor, wine, and malt beverages;
- gas and oil production tax;
- insurance premium tax; and
- use tax due under a direct pay permit.
