Prepare for Transition of Additional Taxes

New eServices File and Pay System is Coming
02-27-2025

The Florida Department of Revenue's General Tax Administration is excited to announce a major enhancement to Florida's online tax filing system. The new eServices File and Pay system will provide taxpayers with a modern and responsive web experience and offer built-in tools to help taxpayers quickly and easily file returns, access prior returns, and make payments. In addition, the new system will strengthen our cybersecurity protections and expand our ability to embrace future technology improvements. Together, these benefits equip the Department to administer Florida's taxes more efficiently.

System upgrades, including improvements to electronic forms, will be rolled out by tax and fee type in four releases. During each release, taxpayers will have the option of making payments without filing a return. During the transition, taxpayers who file electronic returns using the Department's web forms will log in to eServices using their current credentials to file returns timely and remit any collected taxes to the Department. Taxpayers who rely on software developer services to file returns will receive additional updates. Taken together, these changes will greatly improve efficiency and prepare the eServices system for future technology improvements. Stay tuned for more updates.
