Many courses approved for continuing education for Certified Florida Appraisers and Certified Florida Collectors also appear to meet the content criteria of section 112.3142, F.S., which provides that Florida’s Constitutional officers, including property appraisers and tax collectors, are required to complete four hours of ethics training each calendar year. At a minimum, these trainings should include:
- Section 8, Article II of the State Constitution
- Code of Ethics for Public Officers and Employees
- Public records and public meetings laws of Florida
