Can I get a refund of sales tax paid while visiting Florida?

No. Sales tax is collected on goods sold in Florida when the purchaser takes possession of the goods in Florida. The tax is due even if the purchaser plans to take the goods outside the state. Florida law does not allow a refund of sales tax paid while visiting Florida.
