Rule Title:Large Currency Transaction Reports Required
Next Step: At the December 4, 2018, meeting, the Governor and Cabinet approved the Department’s request to adopt this rule. The Department will file the rule for certification with the Department of State on December 19, 2018. The rule will be effective on January 8, 2019.

Purpose:    The purpose of the proposed amendments to Rule 12-19.002 and 12-19.004, F.A.C., is to update the name of the Florida Money Laundering Act, correct cross references to other provisions, to remove a redundant definition, and to incorporate by reference an Internal Revenue Code provision used in the rule.
